Alert SLOT Nigeria Website Trustworthy Or Not

Is Slot Nigeria scamming people? Are they trustworthy. Should you buy from them especially since the rumors are strong about the company's dishonesty to customers. Before we examine this let us understand the foundation of SLOT, afterall a building is judged by how it's foundation is built. If the foundation is shaky or not built with solid materials then one day the building will just collapse like T.B Joshua's building at Lagos.

Foundation: About Slot Nigeria

According to them SLOT Systems Limited is a place where you can get affordable and durable mobile phones for all classes of people. They seem to be filling up a gap in the global information technology primarily in the Nigeria market. SLOT is a Nigerian company that sells phones, they provide after sales support that they claim is incomparable in any Western African I.T sector.

Over the years, they've been among the first to announce new phones, new functions, features, and upgrades in Nigeria.

History SLOT System

Incorporated since 1998 and started importation of computer accessories the same year. Slot Systems started their journey in the Nigerian Information Technology sector in 1998, from 1998 they've made a huge contribution in providing personal computer (PCs) in virtually every house and office up to the late 90s. In 2001 they switched over to mobile telecommunication services and since they've continued bringing new released phones into Nigeria.

From the above you've seen that SLOT systems have come a long way, since 1998, how many online shops (offline) can boast of that number of years not even Jumia, Konga or OLX can come close. Jumia vs SLOT, or SLOT vs Konga is won by SLOT when it comes to age.

Generally SLOT which now focuses on cell phones; the smartphones- Android, Windows, iOS, Symbians even Java phones can be said to be trustworthy. In a poll conducted by Nethelpblog with people SLOT has sold phones to 300 people responded, 100 from Facebook, 130 from Twitter and 70 from Nairaland a popular forum in Nigeria. The result:
70% were satisfied
20% were not all that satisfied
10% were not satisfied.

From the above figures you can see that the greater percentage are OK with SLOT services, while just a fraction are not OK with them. When pressed for their reasons, those that care to respond gave some reasons for their disatisfaction, ranging from
Phones bought are not delivered fast enough
In most cases getting a refund for things not wanted anymore can be difficult
No consistant discount
Their inability to make phones available as they are released. Including other reasons. But they all agreed that despite their 'against reasons' phones bought are always delivered

Conclusion

SLOT's foundation is solid, not just because they are seemingly the oldest online/offline mobile store in Nigeria, but because of they have a track record which is positive.

But ultimatly it's you who will decide where to shop or buy from not me nor this blog, we are only helping you make decisions. So my verdict? SLOT is good, they are not scamming or cheating any one.
