I was actually in need of a hotspot for my WiFi So I saw this WiFi hotspot (the hardware) displayed in a glass casing last month, was intrigued and went in to buy it, only to be put off by the price, an amount that I don't have at that moment, so I went home disappointed but with a plan to get the money and buy it, as I'm not beaten easily.After two days while I was just doing some stuff on Net, I stumbled on something- a thing that helped me create a WiFi hotspot with my PC, as fast as the furious bike. An open source software did the work. This software saved me quite an amount of money, this software in question is free! It's an open source app so it's 100% free. Having done that I've decided to share the procedures with you, you get to save some bucks. Thank me later. How to turn your computer to a WiFi Hotspot   The softwareThe name is Virtual Router, you can use this Virtual Router to share internet connection (WiFi, LAN, Cable Modem, Dial-up, Cellular, etc) to any WiFi supported device (Laptop, Smart Phone, iPod Touch, iPhone, Android Phone, Zune, Netbook, wireless printer, and others). It only works on Windows operating system. The procedures 1. You get your computer or laptop ready by downloading this software on your PC or Notebook2. Open Virtual Router (OVR) to set up your access point.Configuration hintChoose 'A Network Name' of choice and a strong password, then select your connection type.3. Initialize your Computer's WiFi hotspot by clicking on 'Start Virtual Router' to stop the connection 'Click stop Virtual Router'If everything is in order you've successfully turned your computer to a WiFi hotspot.
